General Orders No.3 (2011 Series)

The officers and men of Co.K 22nd Regiment North Carolina Troops, Capt. Jeff Cordell, commanding, are hereby accepted into the ranks of The Carolina Legion and assigned to the 2nd Infantry Battalion of the Legion.

Capt. Cordell will report, at his earliest opportunity, the names and ranks of all other officers of Co. K 22nd NCT and the dates of their commisioning in their current rank in order that those officers might properly be entered upon the Officer Register of The Carolina Legion.
We would be obliged to have the remaining 2011 schedule and a current roster for the unit as well.

I encourage the Officers of the Legion to welcome our new comrades and their future service with us.

This order shall be posted upon the Legion website as soon as possible.

Richard Watters is hereby appointed as Acting Sgt.Maj. of the 1st Regiment SC Rifles.
We are indeed fortunate to have the benefit of such an accomplished soldier in the absence of Sgt Maj Garris.

General Orders No. 1 (2011 Series)

Captain George Hatcher of the Iron Gray Mess is hereby appointed Captain of the 4th Company 1st Regiment SC Rifles and will commence the organization of his company at the completion of which his command will repair to the City of Charleston and thence to Fort Moultrie.
 
I would encourage the commanders of the respective units, 1st Sgt. R. Walton, Capts. J. Morrow & J. Hopping, L. Jenkins & T. Dean, respectively of the, 6th NCST, 25th & 49th NCT and the Iron Gray Mess to consult at your earliest opportunity.
 
Capt. Hatcher, kindly report the final structure of your company to this station no later than the 1st of March.
